So, heres the thing...Dakara...

I did not get to blog at all. Which means the trip was a blast and I got maybe 5 hours of sleep each night if I was lucky.

I am going to try my best to recap the trip day by day, mainly for myself and my memories. =)

first full day.

At first I thought I was not supposed to get here - my check never came and traffic was awful on the way to the airport and I almost missed the flight.

The flight went by super fast - Heather and I talked a lot of slept a lot. Its super fun figuring out things together - like currency exchange and cultural customs.

We took a taxi after trying to ask around for a bus to the Prince hotel. And ended up being 26000 yen = 200$ never again.

We got to the hotel finally and around 6 pm we both passed out - woke up around 4 am to eat bfast at 6am in the hotel. LUSH bought prepaid breakfast for us at the hotel for eat morning =)

Lots of pictures to come.

We walked around a bunch outside of the hotel - when it started raining bad we figured out there was a mall attached to the hotel.

We had a drink at the very top of the hotel with a great view.

Heather and I then ate a local pub. We had great service everywhere until we went in here. They were very rude and as she sat us, two business men were yelling in Japanese "No, No, No.. over there" and she sat us at a table not next to them. THEN we started thinking, "Are women allowed in here?!" It was odd and we were being stared at bad.

Anyway, everyone else has been the most helpful and kind people.

I have a feeling I'm not making a whole lot of sense and need some sleep as you all begin your day.

I'll be on a plan in 24 hours.

It hasn't quiet settled in yet. I'm sure half way through the flight I'll get super anxious and it will settle in then. It's super exciting though and very surreal.

I still have to get Yen and a pocket phrase book...because I don't remember everything I learned in Japanese class in high school.

This is where I am staying with Heather and Nicole: http://www.princehotels.com/en/shinagawa/

The LUSH Japan managers meeting are at the same hotel.

The first two days are fun days, then we get a kick off to LUSH in Japan by working in a shop on the 3rd day.

Can't stop thinking about it.. driving to Chicago tonight.
